Description
Buy now and/or regret later.
It occurred to me that buying art is not really about the art. It's about proximity. It's cosplaying that you are friends. It's a sort of vampiric barter, with the buyer subconsciously imagining that by owning it they are changed.
That's what capitalism is right, a means for undergoing (the semblance of) personal transformation.
Point is, let's not lie to each other that you care about what is on the actual canvas. Deep down what matters to you is that you have a piece of me. My time and my life force are imbued into this piece. By buying it you are able to enhance your life, expand it, grow a spiritual 11th finger.
It'd be pretentious if I did the usual art thing in the center and then scribble my signature in the corner. Let's just be honest with each other, it's more powerful this way.
You are welcome.
